Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began at 14 years old. She studied kickboxing, boxing as well as wrestling, before making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd continued to build on her triumph in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents in the first round. Cynthia beat Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took her next bout with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final fight with the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the second. Her dominance grew and she scored a more impressive win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the opening round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of night. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. Ladd was the winner of the night's main event fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. in the 3rd round on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. For a replacement last minute for her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was lost by unanimous vote.
