Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised in an ethnically diverse family. The father of her is Nigerian as well as Swiss, while the mother of her is English. She grew on a south London council estate, as a teenager, she fourteen, she attended The Brit School. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained a BA in acting. She performed in various stages during her high school days, including King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film came from the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. The film's success led her to play Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in the six-episode series Trexx & Flipside as Ollie. She also was offered the part of Bambi in The ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the series two and three. Madekwe was the main character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy released in 2008. Her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009, with The dramatic The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before it was ended on The CW. In February of 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. In May of 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe who had appeared on the show as a series regular for the past two seasons, would be leaving the show with a guest appearance on the premier episode of the new season. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba in the TV series Salem. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also played a part with her on the TV series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, is a member of a big family living in Hamilton, Ontario. The four brothers she had were also present: twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball parks since the four brothers who were athletic played hockey and baseball and basketball in summer and winter. Ashley did not walk; instead, she would dance. At age two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley was captivated by dance at this age. When she was in the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in tap, jazz, ballet pointe, acrobatics musical theatre, lyrical and hip-hop. Top soloists at big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
