Her birthplace was in Santa Monica in California on 26 November, 1986. Her father Vincenzo Barba is her mother Valerie Barba. Her family relocated from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was 6 years old. Her education was completed at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Catholic University in New Jersey with a bachelor's degree. She began playing violin at age 4 and was referred to by the name Violin Girl.
