Melissa Suzanne George hails from Australia and is an actor, businesswoman, inventor and model. Following her start in her native country she eventually moved to Hollywood and was able to achieve significant successes there. A native of the city of Perth George was at first interested in dancing and artistic roller skating. As she entered her teens, George started modeling. In 1992, she won Western Australia's teenage Model. Her screen debut was in an Episode of the Seven Networks' soap opera Home and Away the following year. The actress made her debut on the big screen in the mystery thriller Dark City and essayed various support roles in films like Alias The Limey and Down with Love before making her first appearance as a lead female character in an established Hollywood production in 2005's adaptation of The Amityville Horror . Her popularity on American films is testimony to her accomplishments. As an entrepreneur George is introducing her own invention Style Snaps into the market.
