Shannon Spake

Shannon Spake, born July 23rd in 1976, is an NASCAR reporter and college basketball and football reporter at Fox Sports. Before joining Fox Sports, Spake worked with ESPN. She also contributed to SportsCenter's before- and post-game coverage. Alongside being the sideline reporter of ESPN basketball and college football matches, she also worked for the SEC. Spake was also a reporter for the recently created SEC Network, which is part of ESPN. Prior to joining ESPN, Spake worked at Speed Channel, where she co-hosted NASCAR Nation in its second version (June through November 2005) and was a reporter in its first (February until June of 2005). Back Seat Drivers was also hosted by Spake and Marty Smith. She has held previous positions on air on WCCB, Charlotte, North Carolina and Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
